Let me tell you, Davonia Williams has been my inspiration of branding photography. Her confidence, unique style and humble spirit has been a such pleasure to work with. When Davonia sent me that loud message, I was ready for the task ahead. Although I’ve captured her on many occasions, I knew this time I’d have to level-up my creativity.
After going through wardrobes, we discussed location, LISTENNNNNN she was cluless, lol but this is where the fun came in. I decided to embark on three different locations, we spent the afternoon deep west of New Providence, Bahamas and came out with the most electrifying images.
During this session, Davonia stopped me and said….
“Cheryl, you just changed my entire way of thinking, these locations made me realize I am good enough and I don’t have to settle where I am. This changed my life *gurl. I already feel the shift.”
When Davonia shared that, I said *TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY. Many times people only do things for the money, DON’T GET ME WRONG, YES WE ALL NEED THAT, but when you can inspire someone along the way, that’s a seed you’ve planted for generations to come. After that moment, I new right then God was pleased and He did the rest.
